💧 How do I know my watch's water resistance?
The water resistance level of your quartz or digit watch is usually shown on the back of the case. You will also find it on the original packaging and on the product page on ice-watch.com.
Most Ice-Watch quartz and digit watches are water-resistant between 5 and 10 ATM (atmospheres). Some older models go up to 20 ATM.

🛁 Even if your watch is water-resistant, we always recommend taking it off before a bath or shower: hot water, steam and soap damage the seals.
💡 Never press the crown or buttons when the watch is wet or underwater.

Can I shower with my watch?
We recommend taking it off, whatever its water resistance level.
Can I swim with my watch?
- 3 ATM: no
- 5 ATM: yes, excluding athletic swimming
- 10 ATM: yes, including athletic swimming
- 20–30 ATM: yes, including apnea, jumping into water and water sports
Does water resistance decrease over time?
Yes. Seals wear over time: have them checked by a watchmaker every 1 to 2 years if your watch is regularly exposed to water.
🧹 After contact with water
- Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt or chlorinated water.
- Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid soaps, perfumes, sunscreen and corrosive liquids.
⚠️ Water or condensation under the glass?
- Do not press any button or touch the crown.
- Do not dry the watch with a heat source (hair dryer, radiator, direct sunlight).
