💬 SMS, RCS, and iMessage on your smartwatch
Your ICE Smart or ICE Fit watch relays your phone's notifications over Bluetooth, whatever the messaging app: SMS, RCS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, and more. Once notifications are set up correctly on your phone, messages appear on the watch.

🍎 iPhone — activate SMS and iMessage notifications
- In the ICE Smart app: Device › Notification management › System notification permission.
- iPhone Settings › Bluetooth › tap the "i" next to your watch › turn on "Share System Notifications".
- iPhone Settings › Messages › Notifications › Show Previews › "Always" or "When Unlocked".
- iPhone Settings › Notifications › ICE Smart: allow notifications, Show Previews "Always" or "When Unlocked", banner style "Persistent".
- Update iOS and the ICE Smart app.
🤖 Android — activate SMS and RCS notifications
- In the ICE Smart app, go to Device › Notifications and enable your messaging app (Messages, Google Messages, Samsung Messages, etc.).
- Settings › Apps › ICE Smart › Permissions › grant all permissions.
- Settings › Battery › disable battery optimisation for ICE Smart.
- Make sure Bluetooth is on and the watch is connected.
💡 RCS messages are handled like SMS: once SMS notifications are enabled, RCS messages appear too.
❓ Messages still not appearing?
- Reset the connection: remove the watch in the ICE Smart app, forget it in Bluetooth settings, factory-reset the watch, and pair it again.
- Turn all notifications off in the app for a few seconds, then on again.
- Restart your phone and your watch.
