What does my warranty cover?Updated 6 days ago
🛡️ What the warranty covers
All Ice-Watch watches (smartwatches, quartz and digit) come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. It covers manufacturing defects.
What is not covered
- Accidental damage: impacts, drops, broken screen or case (except smartwatch lugs, see above)
- Damage caused by use beyond the watch's water resistance (hot water, steam, sauna, hammam…)
- Normal wear and tear: strap, scratches, signs of use
- Damage caused by misuse, for example a charger of more than 5V
- Gradual loss of battery life due to normal battery wear
🧾 Warranty conditions
- A proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) showing the purchase date is required.
- Second-hand watch: the warranty applies if you have the original invoice dated less than 2 years ago. If you don't have it, ask the seller for it. Without an invoice, the watch is considered out of warranty.
🔁 How the warranty is applied
If a defect covered by the warranty is confirmed:
- quartz and digit watches are repaired whenever possible;
- if repair is not possible, or for a smartwatch, the item is replaced, subject to stock availability;
- if the item is no longer available, our customer service will provide a voucher for the value of the item.
🏬 Watch bought from a retailer
If you bought your watch from a retailer (jeweller, Amazon, bol, Fnac…), the warranty applies in the same way (repair, replacement or voucher).
🔧 My watch has a problem: what should I do?
Quartz or digit watch
If you live in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy or Spain, submit your repair request via our online form: https://icewatch.typeform.com/repair-request
For other countries, contact our customer service at [email protected].
Smartwatch or jewellery
For a smartwatch, first check our troubleshooting articles: most issues can be solved in a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact our customer service at [email protected] with:
- your proof of purchase
- the model and 6-digit reference number (on the back of the box or on your invoice, more rarely on the back of the watch; it never contains letters)
- a description of the problem and since when it has occurred
- photos or a video of the problem
⏳ Watch out of warranty
Is your watch more than 2 years old, or is the problem not covered by the warranty? Contact us in the same way (repair form for a quartz or digit watch in the countries listed above, [email protected] in all other cases). Our customer service will review your case and tell you the appropriate procedure.
